This sleek and distinguished designed train was operated by Nagoya Railway (Meitetsu) in Japan from 1961 to 2008.

Nicknamed the “Panorama Car”, it became an icon of Japanese rail travel due to its innovative design and popularity among the public and railway fans alike.

Featured a driver’s cab raised above the passenger compartment, allowing a full-width, front-facing viewing seat at the front of the train.

This design was revolutionary and is considered one of the world’s first trains to offer such a panoramic experience for passengers.

Operated across major routes including the Nagoya–Toyohashi and Nagoya–Inuyama lines.

There are three schematics that are needed to make up the whole train. This is a cab car which comes first.

The driver's room is not on the same level as the passenger's space. To get to the driver's seat, you must use the stairs on the side.
