8 Story Elevator with call buttons, floor arrival chime, smooth opening doors, floor indicators and subterranean encoder. PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION
This is an elevator I have been working on for my castle. I brought it over to a flat world for schematics so only the first 2 stories work. In order to get all floors working you need to add 36 piston extension poles underground. The encoder and the elevator itself is set to floor 0. If you press any other floor than 1 or 2, the encoder will get out of whack and need to be manually reset with a hand crank or motor. I am fairly new to doing these schematics so please bear with me.

This appears to be missing the bottom 2 gear drives up 1 is going to be white wool for both channels on the redstone link and down 1 will be grey wool channel 1 white wool channel 2
