Continuing the "Passanger line" I am building as part of the "Realistic Scale" series. The Acoma Lounge Car.

The ACOMA is unique among rail passenger cars for several reasons. It was the first full sized, all stainless steel •streamlined' lounge car built for any railroad. Built as a lightweight, stainless steel car by

the Budd Co., in late 1936, it was designed by the Santa re and Budd for the new streamlined Santa

re Super Chief. This all new, extra-fare sleeper car train went into revenue service on May 18, 1937 on

a once a week round-trip between Chicago and Los Angeles.

NOTE: This was built using the "Create Ultimate Selection" mod pack. Core mods are needed to make the thing functionally complete. Cosmetic mods are all the pretties stuff but if you don’t have them, you can sub in whenever you like.
