This is ugly set up based on Seer0's lvl9 engine. It was to see if I could increase and decrease SU generation based on need instead of it running all the time. Primary engine is still manual start but others are hooked to clutches w/ power toggle levers, redstone & display links and display board. Test setup can gen. from 147k to 589k SU depending on how many engines are activated and deactivated. This schematic is creative flat world for study since layout can change in your world to make it look much better than this model.

  1. Not sure how many will read this but... This set up requires the user to manually hit the buttons to add or subtract engines from the grid. So far I can't think of a way to automate this based on SU usage. But I think if you designate and engine to a specific factory and link it in tandem with the content observers used to shut down the factory when full you might be able to shutdown the engine or start it up using the same signal??? Let me know or post a modification if it can work.
