This is an steam engine with a hut to see info about the steam engine and to control it.
For the first time start after download:
Enter creative mode and disable stress setting and make all the blaze burners blue with the creative blaze cake. Then enter the control hut and rotate the blue valve clockwise and after you did that rotate the hand crank anti clockwise (Hold right click WITHOUT shift) until you hear the running steam engine. To power off, close the blue valve.

To turn on the next time:
Open the blue valve by rotating it clockwise an rotate the hand crank WITHOUT SHIFT KEY.
Now it should work in survival mode.
