Description

Cheapest, most compact Andesite Alloy and Andesite farm, at just 4*x7x6 blocks, and only 1 Mechanical Arm, 9 Brass Funnels, 1 Smart Chute and 3 vaults.

Setup:
1. Waterlog the Mechanical Pump at the top of the farm.
2. Waterlog the Brass Funnel that outputs Soul Sand at the bottom of the farm.
3. Waterlog the bottom Brass Funnel that outputs gravel at the back of the farm.
4. Light the Netherrack on fire, if it's not already.
5. Place a bucket of Lava in the cauldron behind the pump.
6. Break and place the Redstone Block on the top of the farm, if the block is not moving. Place a Minecart under the cart builder if it's not already there.
7. Check if the vaults placed correctly (they most likely did not). Break and replace the vault until they all connect.
8. Apply rotational force to the farm on any point except an Encased Chain Drive.
9. Check whether the rotational force is correct. Check whether the belts are moving the correct direction. Every belt should move up.

* 4x7x6, 4 does not count trapdoors and copycat panels. If included, 6x7x6.

  1. I built this farm but why is the cobblestone not breaking? Could you share a video to demonstrate how the machine should look like when it's working?
For me, the Redstone is popping up and down slightly, which I would consider as moving. But the cobblestone generated is not being broken, so idk how this works

  2. I replaced the Redstone block with a mechanical drill and added 2 gearboxes next to it so it uses the rotational forces from the small cogwheels. Then the farm works! Thanks for sharing man.

  3. That is very strange. The way it is supposed to work is, the cart builder gets powered by the redstone block, and constructs a minecart contraption with a redstone block and the attached sail. The absence of the redstone block then unpowers the cart builder, which deconstructs the minecart contraption, breaking any blocks that will have formed. Perhaps the sail was missing, or this is not a thing in a different version of Create? It does work in the latest version. Good to hear the drill method works for you though.

  4. Kiretic I'm unsure why it's not working for other people. I've tried it on the latest version of create and it works. Perhaps it is a feature that can be disabled in the config? Although I haven't been able to find the setting that would. For now, you can use the fix Douvle used, by using 2 gearboxes and a drill (connect the gearboxes to the cog on the right in the picture). This will use a bit more SU and might be slower, but should still work well enough.

  5. So i made all the edits that i read in the comments and the machine is making plenty of andesite blocks. But zero alloy is being made unless i place iron into the top barrel manually.

  6. The farm does not work as uploaded. Apparently, a Windmill Sail/Frame was forgotten, but it is easy to repair.

After placing the Redstone block, you need to install a Windmill Sail/Frame horizontally where the Cobblestone is generated. Then, place the Minecart. The Redstone block should then move with the Sail and destroy the Cobblestone during the operation of the farm.

    Works great!

  7. For those who are having an issue with the output of only Andesite blocks and not alloy, on setup Step #3 try also replacing the mentioned brass funnel with an andesite funnel. If it is kept as Brass, a different funnel seems to take priority and prevent any gravel from getting washed for nuggets.
